Friends,
Before the election, I predicted that we would win 15 seats. I was wrong — We won 16!
For the first time in over a decade, the Republicans will have a supermajority in our State Senate.
This election was a strong endorsement of the work that our majority has done over the past four years. The voters of New Hampshire have spoken and their message is loud and clear – New Hampshire wants common-sense Republican rule in our state government.
We want to keep taxes low with a fiscally responsible government. We want better education for all children regardless of family income and we want parents’ rights protected. We want to protect the safety of our communities from homelessness, drugs and illegal immigration.
I want to congratulate all of our incumbent candidates that secured re-election and our new State Senators-elect David Rochefort, Mark McConkey, Tim McGough and Victoria Sullivan. And I would like to thank the voters of New Hampshire for putting their trust in us to keep New Hampshire headed down the path to prosperity.
Thank you again!
– Senate President Jeb Bradley
